With long cruising runs and some testing mogul slopes, there is plenty of exciting skiing here for everyone. There’s a vibrant, bustling atmosphere in the village, which boasts some excellent cafés, bars and shops. There’s lots to do, with facilities for swimming, skating and indoor tennis all available. The nightlife in St. Johann is lively, and the architecture stunning, making this quaint village a top choice for a fabulous skiing holiday.

Thanks to its north facing slopes, St. Johann has an exceptional snow record. The lift pass covers the areas of St. Johann, Oberndorf and Eichenhof. The lift system encompasses 18 lifts and 60km of prepared piste offering an excellent range of skiing. St. Johann also has snowmaking facilities, which is an added attraction.

Beginners will enjoy the wide-open nursery slopes, both at Eichenhof and at the foot of the Hochfeld chairlift.

The new 6 person gondola ascends the Harschbichl from where there is an excellent choice of red and blue runs back to the village for Intermediates

Advanced Skiers will find the 'Penzing' black run with its extending mogul field very testing. In addition the Ski Welt (Grossraum) is accessible through the resort of Going which is only 4 miles away. In the opposite direction the Kitzbühel 'Ski Safari' is a mere 6 miles away.

The Bruckenwirt Hotel enjoys an enviable central location in the heart of St. Johann. Family owned and managed, the Dukai family take great pride in ensuring all their guests' comfort, and are known for serving good wholesome cuisine with a wide array of wines.

The Hotel is located in the town centre, approximately 10 minute's walk form the nursery slopes and main gondola lift. The ski bus stop is just opposite the hotel.
